Despite what many people may believe, the persecution of Jewish people did not begin with the horrific events of the Holocaust during World War II. In fact, the Jewish people have a deep history of persecution throughout their existence. Jews have been treated terribly, through both word and deed, by numerous different groups of cruel people throughout the years of their existence. These oppressive actions have shaped the past of the Jews into one of severe persecution and struggle. Click on the tabs above to learn more about the history of Jewish persecution: Anti-Semitism, Roman Persecution of the Jews, Catholic Persecution of the Jews, The Protocol of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion, and Pogroms.
